En 2008, la Trilogie du samedi continue de jouer son rôle de laboratoire des séries de genre sur M6, en alternant fantastique, science-fiction et thriller surnaturel. La grille voit se succéder Nick Cutter et les portes du temps, Night Stalker : le guetteur, Medium, Dead Zone, Les 4400, Kyle XY, Supernatural, Smallville, Jericho, Hex : la malédiction, Journeyman, Alias et Numb3rs, offrant un panorama très large de la fiction de genre anglo-saxonne en prime time. Cette programmation 2008 s’articule en plusieurs temps forts : un début d’année dominé par Medium et Dead Zone, un printemps marqué par le duo Kyle XY / Les 4400, puis, à partir de la rentrée, un bloc très orienté héroïc-fantasy et apocalypse moderne autour de Smallville, Jericho et Hex : la malédiction, avant une fin d’année qui remet en avant Medium, Supernatural et Alias.
