La trilogie du samedi (2007)

En 2007, la Trilogie du samedi propose une programmation particulièrement riche, mêlant retours très attendus et nouveautés ambitieuses. M6 y lance notamment la saison 6 de Smallville, qui poursuit l’exploration des jeunes années de Clark Kent, et offre au public la découverte en clair de Supernatural, série mêlant enquête, horreur et folklore surnaturel. Dans le même esprit, l’univers de la science-fiction est à l’honneur avec le lancement de la saison 10 de Stargate SG-1, tandis que Dead Zone revient pour une cinquième saison, tout comme Les 4400 avec leur saison 3 et Hex, la malédiction avec sa saison 2.

Cette cuvée 2007 ne se contente pas de prolonger les séries cultes déjà installées, elle introduit aussi de nouveaux univers forts. Le public découvre ainsi Jericho, chronique post-apocalyptique centrée sur une petite ville américaine isolée après des explosions nucléaires, Night Stalker : le guetteur, qui revisite le journalisme d’investigation sur fond d’affaires paranormales, ou encore Nick Cutter et les portes du temps, série d’aventure britannique où des anomalies temporelles laissent passer des créatures venues d’autres époques. À celles-ci s’ajoute The Lost Room, mini-série mystérieuse construite autour d’une chambre de motel et d’objets aux pouvoirs étranges, qui s’inscrit parfaitement dans l’esprit intrigant et feuilletonnant de la Trilogie.

L’ensemble compose un programme 2007 qui alterne super-héros, science-fiction, fantastique et thriller surnaturel, avec un équilibre entre suites de saisons déjà plébiscitées et lancements de nouvelles séries, de quoi fidéliser les habitués tout en séduisant de nouveaux téléspectateurs.

Une panne a eu lieu à Neuilly Sur Seine à 20h00, lieu où le siège du groupe M6 se situe. Un premier générateur a pu prendre le relai mais est lui aussi tombé en panne. La soirée a donc été très compliquée ce soir là, les épisodes de « Smallville » ont été diffusés en avance sur les horaires prévues et peu de monde avait accès aux chaînes du groupe M6 ce soir là. La chaîne a décidé de rediffuser les épisodes de la série durant les deux samedis suivants.
